Steering Control Ecu: Installation

  1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU 
    1. Install the ECU with the 3 screws.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (50 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

    2. Connect the 4 ECU connectors.
    3. Install the torque sensor wire harness clamp to the ECU.

  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD (see  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH CORNER PIECE LH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH CORNER PIECE RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ JBL Sound System) 
  9. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR (see  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (see  INSTALLATION  ) 
  11. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  12. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  13. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (see  INSTALLATION  ) 
  14. INSTALL NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (see  INSTALLATION  ) 
  15. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  16. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL UPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  17. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  18. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  19. CONNECT CABLE TO BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  20. INSTALL NO. 3 REAR FLOOR BOARD 
  21. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
  22. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR FLOOR BOARD 
  23. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Inspect the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
  24. PERFORM CALIBRATION 
    1. Perform CALIBRATION .
