Throttle Body: Removal: Removal

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 1
REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 10
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE
1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and the 2 wire harness clamps.

2. Disconnect the ventilation hose and loosen the hose clamp.

3. Release the 2 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the throttle body connector and the 2 water by-pass hoses.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and remove the throttle body assembly.

3. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
