Engine Control System (Service Information): ECM: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 34
  2. REMOVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU NO. 2 (for Automatic Transmission 4WD)

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and four wheel drive control ECU.
  3. REMOVE ECM 
    1. Disconnect the 6 connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts and ECM.
  4. REMOVE ECM BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket.
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket.
