Heated Oxygen Sensor: Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (HT1B) - 2 (+B) 20°C (68°F) 11 to 16 Ω
      1 (HT1B) - 4 (E2) Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Heated Oxygen Sensor)

      If the resistance is not as specified, replace the heated oxygen sensor.

  2. INSPECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      1 (HT2B) - 2 (+B) 20°C (68°F) 11 to 16 Ω
      1 (HT2B) - 4 (E2) Always 10 kΩ or higher
