Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
- Install a new gasket and throttle body with motor assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- Connect the throttle position sensor and throttle control motor connector.
- Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose.
- Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.
- Install a new gasket and throttle body with motor assembly with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

- ADD ENGINE COOLANT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK

- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL FRONT LOWER BUMPER COVER (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

- INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT LH (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

- INSTALL V-BANK COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
- INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION NOTE:
- Be sure to perform this procedure after reassembling the throttle body or removing and reinstalling any throttle body component.
- Perform the following procedure after replacing the ECM, throttle body or any throttle body components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body is cleaned.
- Be sure to perform this procedure after replacing the ECM and reconnecting the battery cable.
- Disconnect the EFI and ETCS fuses at the same time. Wait at least 60 seconds, and then reconnect the fuses.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON without operating the accelerator pedal.NOTE:
If the accelerator pedal is operated, perform the above steps again.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2019 - ] ).
- Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated and that the idle speed is within the specified range when the A/C is switched off after the engine is warmed up.
Standard idle speed
690 to 790 rpm
NOTE:- Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
- Make sure that the shift lever is in neutral.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data / Throttle Sensor Position. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value is 60% or more.
- Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
