On-Vehicle Inspection [12/2019 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  3. INSPECT FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR 
    1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum switching valve (for active control engine mount system).

    2. Using a vacuum pump, apply vacuum of 80 kPa (600 mmHg, 23.6 in.Hg) and wait for 1 minute.

    3. Check that there is no change in the needle movement of the vacuum pump gauge.

      OK

      Vacuum pressure holds.

    4. Check that there is no fluid leakage caused by a break in the diaphragm.
    5. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum switching valve (for active control engine mount system).
  4. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51

  5. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
