Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for Active Control Engine Mount System) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - 10/2022] 

  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  6. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  8. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR 
    1. Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the bolt and separate the engine wire.
    3. Rotate the lever while pushing the lock, and disconnect the ECM connector.
      NOTE:

      After disconnecting the ECM connector, make sure that dirt, water and other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connector.

    4. Rotate the lever while pushing the lock, and disconnect the transmission wire connector.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts.

    6. Support the engine assembly with transaxle using a jack and wooden block.

    7. Remove the 4 bolts and front engine mounting bracket.

    8. Remove the 3 nuts and front engine mounting insulator from the front frame assembly.

    9. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the front engine mounting insulator.

    10. Disengage the clamp to remove the vacuum hose from the front engine mounting insulator.
