Installation [07/2020 - ]: Procedure

1. Install a new throttle body gasket to the intake manifold with the protrusion of the throttle body gasket oriented as shown in the illustration.

HINT: 

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2020 - ]

1. Connect the No. 6 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   • If the throttle body with motor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
   • Make sure to position the clip as shown in the illustration.
2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the throttle body with motor assembly to the intake manifold with the 3 bolts.

   Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)

3. Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
   NOTE:

   Make sure to position the clip as shown in the illustration.

4. Connect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

1. Install the air cleaner hose to the throttle body with motor assembly.
   NOTE:

   Align the cutout of the air cleaner hose with the protrusion of the throttle body with motor assembly.

2. Tighten the hose clamp in the position shown in the illustration.
   NOTE:

   Make sure that the end of the hose clamp is positioned as shown in the illustration.

3. Engage the 2 grommets and pin to install the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner hose.
4. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

   NOTE:

   Make sure to position the clip as shown in the illustration.

5. Engage the wire harness clamp.
6. Connect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.

1. Install the inlet air cleaner assembly with the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

   Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 41

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [07/2020 - 12/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2021 - ]

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs 

2. Perform "Inspection After Repair".

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2020 - ]

3. Put the engine in Inspection Mode (Maintenance Mode).

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Utility 

   Tester Display
   Inspection Mode

4. Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated. After the engine is warmed up, check that the idle speed is within the specified range with the A/C switch off.

   Standard Idle Speed

   1050 to 1150 rpm

   NOTE:

   • Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
   • Make sure that the shift lever is in P.
5. Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
