INSPECT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Measure the resistance.

*a	Component without harness connected (Engine Oil Temperature Sensor)

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
C76-1 (THEO) - C76-2 (E2)	30°C (86°F)	2.7 to 3.0 kΩ

NOTE:

If checking the engine oil temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to contact the terminals. After checking, wipe the water off the engine oil temperature sensor.

If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil temperature sensor.
