Installation [12/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET 

    Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL ECM

      1. Install the ECM with the 4 bolts.

        Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      2. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.
      3. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and rotate the 2 levers to lock them.
        NOTE:
        • When connecting the ECM connectors, make sure that the connecting parts of the ECM connectors are free of dirt, water and other foreign matter.
        • Be sure to securely connect the ECM connectors.
  4. INSTALL TCM 
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
  6. VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) REGISTRATION 
  7. ECU CONFIGURATION 

    Refer to ECU CONFIGURATION [12/2024 - ]

  8. UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY 

    Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [12/2024 - ]

  9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [12/2024 - ]

  10. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
