Removal [12/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY

      1. Disconnect the vacuum sensor assembly connector.
      2. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation pressure sensor hose from the vacuum sensor assembly.
      3. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and vacuum sensor assembly from the fuel hose protector.
        NOTE:

        If the vacuum sensor assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  2. REMOVE PURGE PRESSURE SENSOR (VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY)

      1. Disconnect the purge pressure sensor (vacuum sensor assembly) connector.
      2. Disconnect the No. 5 vacuum transmitting hose from the purge pressure sensor (vacuum sensor assembly).
      3. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and purge pressure sensor (vacuum sensor assembly) from the compressor inlet elbow sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        If the purge pressure sensor (vacuum sensor assembly) has been struck or dropped, replace it.
