Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET
Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL NO. 3 ECM BRACKET
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when required.
- INSTALL ECM
*a Grommet *b Lock Portion - Install the ECM with the bolt
Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
HINT:
Check the grommet for peel-off or disengagement.
- Connect the connector in numerical order as shown in the figure.NOTE:
To prevent damage to the connector, when connecting the connector, insert the connector straight in until it stops, and while maintaining the position, lock the lever.
HINT:
Check that the lever is located at the position shown in the figure (position beyond the lock portion).
- Install the ECM with the bolt
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 - PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- When the ECM is replaced
- Perform [Entry VIN].
Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - 10/2024] , or refer to REGISTRATION [10/2024 - ]
- Perform [Module registration].
Refer to UPDATE ECU SECURITY KEY [11/2021 - ]
- Perform the registration of immobilizer.
Refer to REGISTRATION [11/2021 - ]
- Perform [Entry VIN].
- When the ECM is replaced
- INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINAL

HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
