- INSPECT ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 2.25 to 2.65 kΩ 80°C (176°F) 0.305 to 0.331 kΩ NOTE:If checking the engine oil temperature sensor in water, be careful not to allow water to contact the terminals. After checking, wipe the water off the engine oil temperature sensor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the engine oil temperature sensor.
