Installation [02/2024 - ]: Procedure

   1. When reusing the cam timing oil control solenoid, clean the O-ring groove of the cam timing oil control solenoid, then install a new O-ring.
      NOTE:

      Make sure the O-ring groove is free of foreign matter.

   2. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
   3. Install the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly with 2 new bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      • Check if the O-ring is cracked and moved out of the groove.
      • If the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
   4. Connect the connector.
   5. Attach the wire harness.
