Intermediate Shaft: Removal

Remove pinch bolt mounting intermediate shaft to upper universal coupling and pinch bolt securing universal joint to rack pinion. With front wheels in straight ahead position, slide intermediate shaft upward to remove it from pinion shaft universal joint, then pull shaft downward to disengage from upper universal joint.
