Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Module Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove A-pillar lower trim panel on passenger side. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Remove the instrument panel tie bar. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TIE BAR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Unlock and disconnect 8 electrical connectors (1).
4. Remove 3 bolts (2).

   Torque: 8 Nm

5. Fold floor covering (1) to the side in arrow direction (a).
6. Remove ADAS module (2) with mounting bracket in arrow direction (b).

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install the instrument panel tie bar. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TIE BAR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Install A-pillar lower trim panel on passenger side. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
4. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
5. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
