Front Side Door Window Regulator Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

   WARNING: Crushing by moving parts 
   Failure to follow specified procedures may result in death or serious injury due to movement of the window regulator.

   • Secure the component against uncontrolled movement.
   • Always use personal protective equipment (PPE)
   • Ensure vehicle is correctly disabled/powered down to prevent unexpected motion or activation of components.
2. Position the front side door window regulator (1) in a way that the bolt of the door window is accessible through the opening (2).

3. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).

4. Secure the door window pane against falling down.
5. Remove 2 bolts (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm

6. Push up the door window (1) and fix it in place with suitable adhesive tape (2).

7. Remove 7 nuts (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm

8. Remove the front side door window regulator (1) through the door opening.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
