Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Module Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Overview: 

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove A-pillar lower trim panel on passenger side. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove Instrument Panel Under Tray (Passenger). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (PASSENGER)

4. Unlock and disconnect 8 electrical connectors (1).
5. Remove 2 bolts (2).

   Torque: 8 Nm

6. Remove ADAS module (1) with mounting bracket in arrow direction.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install A-pillar lower trim panel on passenger side. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Install Instrument Panel Linder Tray (Passenger). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (PASSENGER)
4. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
5. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
