Child Presence Detection Module Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove the headlining trim panel. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Disconnect the electrical plug connection (1).
3. Release 2 screws (2) and remove the child presence detection module.

   Torque: 5 Nm 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install the headlining trim panel. Refer to HEADLINING TRIM PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
