Front Wheel Speed Sensor Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove front wheelhouse liner. Refer to FRONT WHEELHOUSE LINER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).
3. Detach cable for the wheel speed sensor from the brackets (2).

   Installation note: Pay attention to proper cable routing. 

4. Remove bolt (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm 

5. Remove the front wheel speed sensor (2).

   Installation note: Clean the threaded hole and treat it with corrosion protection. Thinly grease the contact surface. 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install front wheelhouse liner. Refer to FRONT WHEELHOUSE LINER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
