Vehicle Yaw Sensor Removal And Installation/Replacement

Overview: 

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove Front Floor Console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1).
4. Remove 2 nuts (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm 

5. Remove the yaw sensor (1).

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install front floor console. Refer to FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING IDS IN SERVICE
