Current ECU Internal DTC's identify and repair: Notes

Review the DTC's recorded in the previous step, comparing to

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - ALL VEHICLE FAULTS 

Look for current DTC's of category "ECU Internal", these are related to internal performance faults of the source ECU. If a particular ECU has these types of fault, it may be the cause of other faults displayed by other systems, addressing this first may resolve faults of the following types without additional action.

Make sure to follow the DTC Repair Instruction provided for any of these DTC's rather than simply replacing the ECU unless instructed to by the repair instruction.

• P0607-41 Control Module Performance - General Checksum Failure
• P060C-00 Internal Control Module Main Processor Performance
• P0701-00 Transmission Control System Range/Performance
