Intake Air Sensor

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect air intake hose. Disconnect wiring connector from airflow sensor. Connect ohmmeter to terminal Nos. 3 and 4 of airflow sensor. Resistance should be approximately 500-1000 ohms.
  2. Connect ohmmeter to terminal Nos. 2 and 3. Resistance should change as sensor plate is moved. Replace airflow meter if sensor is defective. If replaced, idle speed and CO level must be adjusted.
