Ignition Timing: Notes
NOTE:
Basic timing readings are only valid when engine idle speed and idle mixture are within specifications. For best results, the manufacturer recommends ignition timing, idle CO and idle speed be checked and adjusted in that order.
NOTE:
Off idle timing is computer controlled on models with knock sensor(s). Only idle ignition timing can be set.
