Fuel System Pressure Release (2.8L VR6, Engine Code AXK)

Turn ignition off. Remove fuel pump fuse No. 18 to deactivate fuel pump. See Fig 1 . Place a clean shop rag around fuel line fitting/hose and slowly loosen fitting/hose. See Figure .

NOTE: Fuse/relay panel is located behind cover on driver's side storage (under dash).
