Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

• Observe the safety notes. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Press the brake or operate the parking brake.

-- Move the selector lever into "N".

It is not necessary to pull out the button -arrow- manually. The push button locks in the installation position by itself when the handle is removed.

-- Pry off the cover.

-- Push the Backrest Panel Tool: 3370  as illustrated above, under the plastic frame for the boot in direction of -arrow 1- until stop.

-- Remove boot with plastic frame from center console frame -A- in direction of -arrow 2-

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Cut the clamp under the boot -arrow- with a side cutter.

-- Pull the handle up without pressing the button.
