Overview - Selector Mechanism
- Handle with Shift Cover
- Different shift covers for LHD and RHD.
- Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. Only the cover must be unclipped for the emergency release. Refer to EMERGENCY RELEASE FROM P .

- Selector Housing
- To remove and install, remove and install the insulation and center console. Refer to Overview - Center Console .
- Selector Lever Cable
- Different lengths for LHD and RHD.
- Refer to the Parts Information for the allocation.
- Do not bend or kink
- Do not lubricate
- Removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Checking. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
- Adjusting. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .

- Selector lever cable adjusting bolt
- Cable Bracket
- Removing from the transmission and installing on the transmission. Refer to Fig 2.
- Servicing. Refer to SERVICING THE CABLE BRACKET .
- After installing, adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
- Lock Washer
- Replace after removing
- Do not damage the cable when removing
- Hex Nut with Collar

- Replace after removing.

- For the parking lock
- Fits in one position only. Refer to Figure.
- Install all the way until it stops,
- Adjust the selector lever cable after removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
- Three-Phrase Current Drive -VX54- / Transmission
- Internal Multi-Point Bolt
- 20 Nm + 45° additional turn
- Replace after removing.
- For attaching the cable bracket to the transmission
