Components In Front Compartment: Checking For Leaks And Damage

-- Remove the front underbody trim panel. Refer to FRONT UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Perform visual check as follows:

-- Check the components in the front compartment for leaks and damage.

-- Check the lines, hoses and connections on the following systems:

Check for leaks, chafing, porosity, cracks, correct positioning and attachment in the brackets.

NOTE:

Damage found during the repair procedure must be corrected.

Determine the cause of fluid loss, which cannot be attributed to normal use and repair.
