Spray Pattern
- Clean all fuel connections before loosening or removing. To remove nozzle, detach injector line. Plug all openings to keep dirt out of fuel system. Seal fuel return lines with rubber plugs and hose clamps.
- Install injector in tester. See Fig 1 . Bleed air from injector. Pump lever with short, quick strokes (4-6 per second). Spray jet should be compact and stop abruptly. Injector must not drip.
CAUTION:
Do not expose hands to injector spray during testing, as working pressure will cause fuel oil to penetrate the skin.
