Rest Pressure & Leak Test
- After correct warm engine control pressure has been obtained, stop fuel pump and note pressure drop. Pressure gauge valve should be in open position. Minimum pressure after 20 minutes must be as specified. See Fuel Injection Pressure Testing table.
- If pressure drops too rapidly, run pump again and close valve. Stop pump and observe pressure. If values are now correct, control pressure regulator is faulty and must be replaced.
- If pressure still drops, check all connections, fuel pump check valve, cold start valve, and fuel injectors.
