O2 Sensor

O2 sensor is located in exhaust manifold and measures amount of unburned O2 in exhaust gas. If O2 is low (rich mixture), higher voltage will be generated by sensor. If O2 is high (lean mixture), lower voltage will be generated. Voltage signal from O2 sensor is sent to ECU which controls fuel mixture through frequency valve.
