Fuel Injection System - BOSCH LH: Description: Injectors

The injectors, located in intake manifold, point directly toward intake valve. All injectors are supplied with fuel from a common fuel manifold. The injection pulse is controlled electrically by a needle valve in lower section of injector. The needle valve is operated by an electric solenoid which is switched on and off by the ECU.
