Test Connections

  1. Connect LED tester Red wire to battery positive terminal and Red/Yellow wire to ignition system test point. Ignition system test point wire (Red/Yellow wire) is located on left side of engine compartment. See Fig 1.
  2. Route LED test leads along fender and place LED on dashboard. Road test vehicle and have an assistant monitor LED. The LED will flash according to ignition system malfunctions.
