Throttle Switch
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect throttle switch connector. On 240, 240 DL and 740 GLE, connect ohmmeter between throttle switch Yellow/White wire terminal and center terminal (ground). Ohmmeter should indicate continuity.
- On 740 Turbo, 740 GL, 760 Turbo, and 760 GLE, connect ohmmeter between throttle switch Orange wire terminal and center terminal (ground). Ohmmeter should indicate continuity.
- Depress accelerator pedal to open throttle switch. Ohmmeter should now read infinite (continuity) when throttle switch is open. If throttle switch does not function as described, replace switch.
