Crankshaft Position Sensor

  1. Turn ignition off and remove fuse No. 24. Connect Measuring Unit (999-3070 p) between ECU and ECU connector. See Figure .
  2. Connect a millivoltmeter across measuring unit terminals No. 47 and 48. Operate starter motor. Voltmeter should read 300-400 millivolts.
  3. Turn ignition off. If signal is not present or faulty, connect ohmmeter between terminals No. 47 and 48. Resistance should be 200-400 ohms, depending on pick-up temperature.
  4. Connect ohmmeter between terminals No. 48 and 19, and between terminals No. 48 and 30. Resistance should be zero ohms.
