Contact Reel
NOTE:
A new contact reel is zeroed at the factory and supplied with the locking screw installed. "Zeroed" means that the steering wheel can be turned to full lock in either direction without damaging the contact reel.
- If locking screw is removed, contact reel must be set to zeroed. See Fig 1. Turn contact reel as far as possible to left.
- Then turn contact reel 2 full turns to the right. Continue turning contact reel in same direction, 3/4 of a turn to the screw hole.
- Screw hole should be over lock position at 1:00 O'clock. Install screw.
