Central Electronic Module (S80): Notes

CAUTION: Disconnect negative battery cable before beginning. See BATTERY DISCONNECT PRECAUTIONS & RELEARN PROCEDURES . Vehicles equipped with Volvo On Call will send automatic alarm to emergency services if negative battery terminal is not disconnected before beginning work.
NOTE: Customer-programmed information must be recorded before servicing. Software for new module can only be installed after module is in vehicle. Volvo VADIS system required to install software.
