Signals ABS Control Module With DSTC (Dynamic Stability And Traction Control)
The table below summarizes the input signals to and output signals from the ABS control module. The signal types are divided into directly connected signals, serial communication and Controller area network (CAN) communication. The following illustration displays the same information with the Volvo component designations.

Central electronic module (CEM)
(4/56):
Engine control module (ECM) (4/46). Indicates current engine torque when calculating the DSTC control. Climate control module (CCM) (3/112). Provides information to manually switch off the DSTC function. Transmission control module (TCM) (4/28):
Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) (4/68). Provides information:

Engine control module (ECM)
(4/46). Receives a request to decrease the torque during DSTC control. Central electronic module (CEM) (4/56):
Transmission control module (TCM) (4/28). Receives a request to delay a gear shift in the event of a substantial speed difference in the front wheels. Climate control module (CCM) (3/112). Receives a request to light the LED indicator in the DSTC button. Driver information module (DIM) (5/1):
