Fault Conditions

ECM has registered an internal fault. ECM-901E is stored in ECM.

Substitute values are:

• Accelerator pedal is ignored when braking
• Cruise control cannot be activated
• RPM is limited using fuel shut off. Maximum permitted engine speed depends on accelerator pedal position. Throttle unit follows pulse width modulation accelerator pedal signal directly and control signal via CAN is ignored.

Electronic Throttle System (ETS) warning lamp lit while ECM-901A is set. DTC can also cause uneven idle and jerking during engine braking.
