Removing engine control module (ECM): Notes

Remove the screws (7 pcs.) for the casing.
Remove the shear screws (A) (2 pcs.) with special tool 9985447 and remove the safety brace (C).
Remove the screws (B) (2 pcs.) and lift away the engine control module from its base.
Disconnect the connectors.
NOTE:
Pay attention to drill burrs.

NOTE:

Always check the control module and connector on the engine control module (ECM) so that there are no bent or damaged pins. This may have caused the problem.
