Press the spring towards the cable sleeve.

Pull the cable out of the cable sleeve (approximately 10 mm).

Remove the guide sleeve.

Remove the spring. Ensure that the broken section of the guide sleeve is removed from the cable sleeve.

Install a new guide sleeve in reverse order.
