• Activate the Scan Tool (ST) in MODE 2.
• Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
• Activate the SET switch.
• Check that the SET-function is OK by checking that response code 2-1-3 is returned.

Is response code 2-1-3 returned?

1. Yes, response code 2-1-3 is returned. Troubleshooting has been completed.
2. No, response code 2-1-3 is not returned. Refer to Checking other response codes .
3. No, response code 3-1-1 is returned instead. Refer to Checking response code 3-1-1 .
