Alarm system
There are different versions of the alarm system. Some of the versions are market dependent or options:
- Basic Alarm . Doors, hood and tailgate
- Extended alarm . Has one or more of the following as additions to the basic Alarm. Mass movement sensor, the inclination sensor module and glass wire (V70/V70XC only)
- Number of alarm cycles . Market dependent. There are two choices, 1 or 10 cycles. The alarm cycle is the number of times the alarm sounds when it has been deployed. An alarm cycle means that the siren sounds for approximately 25 seconds and the hazard warning signal flashers flash for approximately 5 minutes. Once the alarm has been deployed the alarm is reactivated. If a door or hatch is left open, that door or hatch will not be included in the alarm loop when the alarm is activated once again.
Components and switches differ depending on the model year, version and equipment.
