Control module	Name/ Function	Connected to/Master node	Other
ACM	Alternator control module (ACM) Controls charge regulation of the battery.	Engine control module (ECM). Also diagnosed by the Central electronic module (CEM).	For more information, see Design and Function, Alternator See also VIDA Design and Function, Engine control module (ECM).
AQS	Air quality sensor (AQS) Measures the particle content in the air into the climate system.	Climate control module (CCM)	The Climate control module (CCM) uses this signal as a basis for control of the damper for recirculation. CPM	Combustion preheater module (CPM) Petrol driven engine and passenger compartment heater.	Central electronic module (CEM)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, central electronic module (CEM).
DMM	Damper motor module (DMM) Regulates the air flow in the passenger compartment, temperature between the right and left sides as well as recirculation.	Climate control module (CCM)	The number of damper motors varies depending on the equipment level and whether the vehicle is right or left hand drive. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, climate control module (CCM).
GSM	Gear selector module (GSM) Provides input signals to the Transmission control module (TCM), about the position of the gear shift.	Transmission control module (TCM)	Vehicles with automatic transmission only. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, Transmission control module (TCM)
ISM	Inclination sensor module (ISM) Detects changes to the vehicle incline when the alarm is activated.	Rear electronic module (REM)	For more information, see VIDA Design and Function, Rear Electronic Module (REM). Also see VIDA Design and Function, Alarm.
LCM	Left camera module (LCM)	Driver door module (DDM) or Passenger door module (PDM) depending on whether the vehicle is right or left hand drive.	Component in the BLIS system. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, Driver door module (DDM)/passenger door module (PDM).
LSM	Light switch module (LSM) Sends signals to the Central electronic module (CEM) concerning settings for the exterior and instrument lighting.	Central electronic module (CEM)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, central electronic module (CEM).
OWS	Occupant weight sensor (OWS) Used as an input signal to indicate deactivation of the front passenger airbag.	Supplemental restraint system module (SRS)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, Supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
RCM	Right camera module (RCM)	Driver door module (DDM) or Passenger door module (PDM) depending on whether the vehicle is right or left hand drive.	Component in the BLIS system. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, Driver door module (DDM)/passenger door module (PDM).
RSM	Rain sensor module (RSM) Detects whether there is water on the windscreen.	Upper electronic module (UEM)	Used to control the automatic wiper function. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, upper electronic module (UEM).
SCM	Siren control module (SCM) Controls the siren function.	Upper electronic module (UEM)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, upper electronic module (UEM). Also see VIDA Design and Function, Alarm.
SHM	Seat heating module (SHM), driver's side and Seat heating module (SHM), passenger-side.	Climate control module (CCM)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, climate control module (CCM).
SRM	Sun roof module (SRM) Control sun roof functionality.	Upper electronic module (UEM)	For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, Sun roof.
SWSL	Steering wheel switch left (SWSL)	Central electronic module (CEM)	Concerns the steering wheel buttons for control of radio and telephone functions. For further information, see VIDA Design and Function, central electronic module (CEM).
