Battery Disconnect/Connect: Notes
NOTE:
Battery is located in rear of vehicle under cargo compartment floor panel.
WARNING:
Ignition key must be in position II. NO ONE must be in vehicle when battery is connected. This is a safety precaution in case an air bag module activates when power is connected.
CAUTION:
Always disconnect battery negative cable first. DO NOT disconnect positive cable in engine compartment first.
CAUTION:
Turn ignition to OFF (0) position. Before disconnecting negative battery cable, obtain anti-theft radio security code. Disconnect negative battery cable. After reconnecting battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio.
Once battery has been connected, check operation of radio, clock and convenience electronics.
