Service Message
The service message is displayed the first time the ignition is switched on after the service interval has been reached.
There are three types of service message that consist of a text string and they are displayed for different amounts of time when the ignition is switched on.
- 30 days remaining until service. Displayed for 60 seconds.
- Time for service. Displayed for 120 seconds.
- Service should have already been carried out. Displayed for 240 seconds.
The service message will be displayed each time the ignition is switched on, until it is reset.
The conditions for the display of the service message can be programmed for three different parameters:
- mileage
- time passed
- engine hours.
The quality of the engine oil also has an impact on when the message is displayed. However this parameter cannot be programmed.
