Passenger Compartment Temperature Sensor
From and incl. structure week 201020 a new design of Climate control module (CCM) is introduced, on different vehicle models. A part of the new design is a new passenger compartment temperature sensor, which also is integrated in the control module.
The passenger compartment temperature sensor is installed on the lower right-hand side of the center console. The climate control module (CCM) receives the value indicating the present passenger compartment temperature from the sensor. There is also a fan on the sensor. The fan supplies the sensor with air from the passenger compartment. This prevents the value from the sensor from being distorted by heat generated by surrounding electronics.
The passenger compartment temperature sensor and fan are directly connected to the climate control module (CCM).
