The service valve for draining, vacuum pumping and filling with refrigerant
Service valve for draining and vacuum pumping.

There is a service valve on the low-pressure side (2), under the plenum cover, and one on the high-pressure side (1). The valves are in different sizes to avoid mix-ups.

CAUTION:

Filling with refrigerant must only be carried out on the high-pressure side to prevent the risk of liquid refrigerant in the compressor (hammering).
