Explanation of dimensions 

Symbol 1 means that the measurement is taken from the center.

Symbol 2 means that the measurement is taken from the edge.

Symbol 3 means that the measurement is from a cut mark. Measurement is made from the bottom of the recess. Refer to the illustration above.

If only one measuring point symbol is displayed, the symbol applies to both points. Otherwise the symbols are shown on each side of the dimension in the graphic.
