Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) (2008-10): Design: Camera
The camera is located in the tailgate, slightly to the right of the handle.
After the installation of the camera, it must be set so that the guidelines appear in the correct position on the monitor for the High Level Display Front (HLDF). This is done with a check procedure in Volvo's diagnostic tool.
By activating the check procedure, the camera's view appears on the monitor with a semi transparent pattern that must align with the contours of the bumper, at the lower edge of the image.
The camera is only activated when the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) is activated.
